Transmission Lines
CEA monitors and reports the addition of transmission lines (whose length is reported in ckm) on a monthly basis as compared to monthly and annual programme targets. These are reported separately by ownership (central, state and private) and at different voltage levels (220 kV, 440 kV etc.). The graphs below present this data since January 2012 and track annual, quarterly and monthly progress of achievement as against the programme across various voltage levels and ownership.
