This is a model RfP document which is issued by a bid process coordinator (BPC) to select a bidder as a transmission service provider through TBCB to establish an inter-state transmission system /project.

The bid shall remain valid for upto 180 days from the bid deadline
Submission method
Registered post, speed post, courier or by hand delivery to the specified BPC address. Telex/Fax/email/telegram shall not be considered
Contract Performance Guarantee
CPG would be computed on the basis of ₹6 lakh/km for the total tx line length which shall be provided separately to each of the LT tx customer calculated in the ratio of the allocated project capacity [clause 2.21]
Bid Bond
Computed on the basis of ₹3 lakh/km for all lines [clause 2.20]
Bid evaluation
The bid evaluation will consist of responsiveness check, evaluation of financial bids and bidder selection [clause 3]

Bidders are required to quote tx charges for a period of 35 years from SCOD of the project [clause 2.14.1.2 e]
